The buildings are really taking shape this month. Contractors are making great progress as blockwork goes in for internal walls in tha hall, kitchen and library. External walls of the nursery are being laid, whilst walls are disappearing in the former cottages creating new school classrooms. We can now really get a feel for the size of the space.
We were delighted to have been successful with a grant from Community Lincs Redundant Rural Buildings programme and we thank them for their support which will be a great help in developing the multi pupose hall. Meanwhile, the office is a hive of activity with calls from parents and potential team members. We hope to have some coffee mornings in the new year to invite in anyone interested in our work.
This month we have welcomed our neighbours as well as vistors from County Council's Birth to Five Service, Montessori teachers from Essex, local press and other colleagues. If you are interested in seeing our plans or knowing more, just drop us a line or give us a call - contact details on the 'Get Involved' page.
Meanwhile we are acclimatising to the wild winds on Caistor Top and with snow pending - we just hope there's enough of it for sledging the Water Hills!
