Making the shortlist

Congratulations to the team on being shortlisted for the forthcoming Nursery World Awards for Team Development. Following a year in which we appointed a Training Manager and the team undertook over 200 days of professional development, we were really pleased to be acknowledged. In additon to our Investors in People and Montessori Education UK accreditations, we initiatiated an in-house training programme and visting scheme, which were recognised by the judges. Fingers crossed for the ceremony on 21 November.

To top that, Nursery Manager Maxine Dobson has been shortlisted for the Nursery Managment Today (NMT) award for Nursery Manager of the Year. Maxine is the lynchpin of nursery life at Stallingborough and we are delighted for her that all her hard work and dedication was acknowledgedby the judges at the judging day in October. Maxine and co will be at the NMT ceremony on 28 November - go Max!
