History of the Fleece Inn

It was great to get an email from a previous resident of the Fleece Inn, Caistor. The lady who got in touch was the last in a family line to be born there - her grandfather orginally taking up residence and the licence of the inn in 1912.

The Fleece Inn was apprently home to one of the largest Sheep Fairs in England in the nineteenth century - see an early photograph (c1880) here
