The first duty of an education is to stir up life, butleave it free to develop- Maria Montessori

February brought snow blizzards to much of the county - evidenced in these snaps. We had to indulge ourselves in the obligatory snowball fight, but we kept it brief as a warm office and hot tea beckoned!

Our plans are on track to be open in April and there is much activity behind the scenes in addition to all the building work.

We have been working with Caistor based photographer Mike Powell and Lincoln based Little Big Designs on a new prospectus to convey a sense of Montessori and how we do things.

Enquiries for nursery and school are coming in daily, and we are always happy to show off our Stallingborough site for interested parents.

We are working with Caistor Children's Centre to offer a Treasure Basket group for parents and toddlers starting in late February - more details to follow.

Lincolnshire County Council's Birth to Five service have commissioned us to deliver some training for their 09/10 programme and we are looking forward to working with them.

Bookings have been coming in for room hire, so any groups interested in hiring rooms, please let us know on Tel 01472 859050.

And finally, belatedly - our 2008 Annual Review is out. Do call us on 01472 859050 for a copy.
